After relocating from its first space on Adelaide Street to a temporary locale in August 2015, fans of Taro’s Ramen have been eagerly awaiting the opening of its permanent spot at 480 Queen Street. Nearly a year after moving, Taro’s Ramen opened in a cost corner location in 480 Queen Street’s food court level, with a smart and sparse fit out that aims to draw attention to the food. This location offers lunch and dinner service, limiting the daytime menu to facilitate speedy service to busy workers. Despite this, eight of Taro’s classic ramen choices will be available, as will popular sides such as chicken karaage and pork gyoza. At dinner, Miso ramen becomes available as does the Bangalow sweet pork shabu shabu hot pot and bites such as cold tofu, soft shell crab and pork char siu. Liquor service will be coming in the near future, with a popular range of beer and sake to complement the food offering.
