Taj Mahal

Indian cuisine in Brisbane doesn’t get much better than the kind served at Taj Mahal. The restaurant has been serving locals for close to 20 years, with its longstanding menu boasting recognisable favourites and out-of-the-box options. This New Farm destination boasts some high-profile members in its fan base. Comedian Arj Barker reportedly ate at Taj Mahal every night during one of his stints in Brisbane, in addition to numerous Bollywood star, professional athletes and Englebert Humperdinck! After disaster struck in 2019 and Taj Mahal’s original location was gutted by fire, the team reopened on the opposite corner in the former home of the Alibi Room. The curries remain excellent and the service is still top-notch. Though some of the memorabilia has been lost, none of Taj Mahal’s charm has diminished.
