Vintage Wrangler denim shirts, secondhand Sperry boat shoes, hilarious Christmas jumpers – rummaging through the wonderland that is Buffalo Exchange in any of its US city bases usually results in many an excited purchase. Rather than shipping home whole duffel bags of thrifted goods at not-so-bargain postage fees, head to the new digs of locally grown clothing exchange SWOP. Setting up shop in West End behind the ABSOE building on Boundary Street, SWOP is the creation of two determined lasses, Brigid and Bethany. SWOP does all of its buying on Friday and Saturdays, offering cash at 25% of the sale price or 50% in store credit for your goods.
