Storia on Queen

Giuseppe and Donato Laurito have worked in hospitality for 25 years, working as part of their family’s restaurant empire, which has included popular venues such as Colosseum, Roman Empire and Lava Bar. Seeking to bring their brand of handmade Italian cuisine to the inner city, the brothers opened up Storia on Queen, a modern and chic cafe and bar that offers a range of Sicilian-inspired eats and gallons of great coffee. Storia on Queen serves two kinds of coffee blends, a fresh roast for its house pour and a traditional Italian variety from Lavazza for its espresso. The menu features a range of dishes for breakfast and lunch made entirely on site, with all produce sourced locally. Stars of the menu include the Italian Job Omelette with prosciutto, provolone, capsicum and chilli jam, the hot garlic calamari and scallops spaghetti, the veal scallopini and the gnocchi al pollo. The venue opens late on Fridays for post-work drinks, offering a range of tap beers, Italian wines and cocktails.
