Stanton Bar

Stanton Bar at QueensPlaza is a lofty inner-city bar, cafe and restaurant that boasts an eye-catching lived-in Manhattan-meets-Melbourne-via-Paris aesthetic. The fare shies away from experimental and trend-based cooking, preferring to do justice to its selection of worldly classics – emphasising flavour, simplicity, inclusiveness and presentation. Breakfast, lunch and dinner seekers are catered for, with the likes of buttermilk pancakes, Spanish eggs, homemade pies, smoked salmon with potato latkes, steak frites, Napoli-style pizzas and a tapas comprising just a portion of what is available. Stanton Bar chooses to emphasise wine, with a stellar list of small-batch drops curated by a master sommelier. Classic cocktails are also available, alongside two tap beers and organic, ethically sourced coffee from Stanton Food’s own roasting operation. Also of note, every Monday from 7:30–9:30 am, small coffees are sold for $2 a pop, with all proceeds going straight to Brisbane City Homeless. Stanton Food’s app is also an integral part of the overall experience. Order a bite ahead of arrival or even order food and drinks from your table – this application is changing the game when it comes to handy hospitality hacks.
