Soul Black and Uno Sushi
Soul Black and Uno Sushi are two different sides of the same coin. This two-in-one Bowen Hills venue serves specialty coffee and pastries on one side and sushi and belly warming Japanese eats on the other. For the former, King Arthur’s specialty blend is dispensed into espresso brews, while seasonal single origins also feature across batch brew and cold-drip varieties. Close at hand is a fridge filled to the brim with HRVST ST cold-pressed juices and The Probiotic Kitchen kombucha, as well as an ambient cabinet well provisioned with pastries from Crust & Co Artisan Baking, pre-made sandwiches (chicken with garlic aioli, haloumi and pumpkin, and a Reuben), as well as bacon-and-egg brioche rolls with caramelised onion. On the other side of the room, the Uno Sushi team maintains a sushi counter boasting a range of fresh rolls (sushi platters are also available), while a made-to-order menu offers chicken katsu curries, spicy pork bento boxes, donburi bowls and udon dishes. Thirsty? Uno Sushi also stocks refreshing Japanese soft drinks from Ramune. Your selection can be enjoyed in the adjacent covered dining space or ordered to go.
