Even before The Inchcolm was transformed into a hotel, the building has always had a strong social history. As the home of Dr Thomson and his wife, a well-known local socialite, many a party took place on the site of The New Inchcolm Hotel and Suites. Honouring this history, as well as the current building’s inception in the 1920s, Socialites Bar holds an air of jazz-age glamour. Through the day and night, you can pull up a stool and order from the bar, choosing from a simple but curated menu including oysters, a beef burger and figs and chevre. If you’re after liquid sustenance, you can select from the list of wines, craft beers and premium spirits.
