Inspired by her passion for interior design and a much-needed sea change from corporate life, Denise Gannon opened Shop 51 – much to the delight of Toowong natives. Brightly coloured cushions, scented candles, beach towels, books, colourful dresses, jewellery and children’s gifts are carefully arranged on shelves, creating a interior bursting with colour. Local jewellery labels such as Cushy Living and Natalie Parish can be found within the boutique, as well as Nox Australis candles. Browsers can also visit the adjoining Nowhere cafe next door for a post-shopping pick-me-up of coffee and cake.
