Originally dreamt up in a coffee store by owners Steve and Deb Clifford-Ames, Sheets on the Line honours the nostalgic childhood feeling and intoxicating smell of fresh, laundered linen as it hung on the clothesline to dry. Originally an online-only operation, this James Street location is now the third bricks-and-mortar location for the Sheets on the Line brand. The shop stocks a range of fairtrade, organic and sustainably-produced bed linen, table linen and homewares to name just a few. With an ethos that includes treading lightly on this earth, Sheets on the Line also offers a range of eco-friendly everyday items – from linen shopping bags to reusable straws and Planet Luxe organic cleaning products.
