Rogue Spice Canteen + Bar


Central Brunswick’s Rogue Spice Canteen expanded in April 2016, taking over the space formerly occupied by Glass in the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts. The Asian-style canteen fuses the cuisines of Indonesia, Thailand, China and Vietnam, with the new location  building on the Canteen’s popular offering by catering to group dining, imbuing some new flair to existing dishes and adding some Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails and a curated wine list to the whole package. Dishes such as 12-hour pork belly Penang curry, char-grilled coconut beef ribs and twice cooked red duck curry are available – all dishes are gluten and dairy-free except for the roti. The Central Brunswick location will still operate as strictly takeaway, with the new restaurant and bar dedicated to dining in.
