Rafter & Rose is one of Ipswich’s most beloved cafes, one that has increased in popularity exponentially since opening in January 2015. The gorgeous cafe boasts an inviting atmosphere, bolstered by the rustic laneway vibe, cobbled brick walls and abundance of flower boxes. Tables in the alleyway have been constructed using reclaimed wooden pallets, and wrought iron fixtures act as anchors for growing vines. In addition to the delicious coffee from Uncle Joe’s, Rafter & Rose also serves up a range of savoury and sweet items, including a substantial menu of breakfast staples and lunch meals such as Eggs Benedict, House Brekkie, toasties and quiches. The cafe also stocks a selection of sweet treats, loose leaf teas, iced teas and smoothies for those after something a little bit decadent. Rafter & Rose welcomes furry friends, with dogs provided with water bowls and head scratches.
