Prego Pizzeria is the newest from Simon Barakat of Gino’s and Il Verde – a casual eatery dispensing stone-baked Roman-style pizza by the slice. An imported oven is used to cook Prego’s signature rectangle pizzas, boasting a crispy base that retains its hold even after reheating. Pizzas include a range of red and white-base toppings, from the margherita and sopressa, through to gamberi, bergamo, puttanesca, capricciosa, carne di prego and vegetarian. Bolstering this selection is an array of antipasti dishes including salt and pepper calamari, arancini, antipasto boards, garlic focaccia, oven-roasted potatoes and salads. Patrons can also sip on beer and wine if they choose to dine in.
