The first of a fresh crop openings, Portside Social is a new gastropub concept at the Portside Wharf hub – one modelled closely on its other pub-style venue, Newstead Social. Portside Social offers a menu of gastropub winners (think burgers, bangers and mash, fish and chips, chicken schnitzel, salads and steaks) as well as plenty of beer, wine and cocktails. Clui Design is spearheaded the interior styling, with a Lowry Group-led fit-out process.

Punters can even put their appetite to the test with the Big Clucking Parm Challenge and try to finish it in 25 minutes to win a $150 venue voucher. Behind the bar, find frosty beers on tap, ranging from XXXX to Single Fin Summer Ale, as well as crisp wines from mostly Australian vineyards and a tight selection of signature cocktails.
