Chef Matt R0man spent close to 20 years working in various kitchens in Brisbane before discovering his true calling – pies. His shop, Piefection, is a small hole-in-the-wall establishment on Logan Road in Mount Gravatt, but despite its modest presence serves up some of the best pies in Southeast Queensland. Sourcing the best ingredients from around Brisbane and cooked in top-of-the-line combi ovens, the goods at Piefection are, well, perfect. Stop in and try the signature Jack Daniels BBQ pork-rib pie and pulled pork fries. Piefection pies are popping up in delis and gourmet butchers across Brisbane and Matt also has a store in Coorparoo.
