High tea favourite Passiontree Velvet opened a second Brisbane store within the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in July 2015. Much like the first store in Westfield Carindale, Passiontree Velvet Indooroopilly is a haven for sweet tooths, with the dessert cafe dishing up a colourful array of macarons, cakes, tartlets and other beautifully presented petit fours alongside savoury bites and more indulgent treats. The cafe specialises in high tea, with a range of combinations available to those looking for a tailored experience. High teas include finger sandwiches, traditional English scones, a range of chocolates and patisserie items. Passtiontree Velvet Indooroopilly is also licensed, offering prosecco and champagne with its high teas. The savoury menu includes meals such as croque monsieur sandwiches, baguettes and baked stuffed avocado. Bookings are required for high tea, but each patisserie item is available to snack on or takeaway.
