The corner of Alfred and Constance Street is home to a charming cafe, owned and operated by two enterprising coffee lovers. Paradise is the brainchild of Dutch and Bekky Brill, who settled down and opened a cafe after a nomadic existence travelling Australia. Boasting a rustic and minimal interior, Paradise’s cafe space is light filled and welcoming, with a main dining area and cosy nook above offering seating for those looking to catch up with pals over a quick coffee, or linger with a laptop. Former MasterChef contestant Chloe Bowles is helming the kitchen, crafting delicious dishes such as the Eat Yo’ Greens (green pancake, poached egg, avocado, shaved zucchini), Crumpet Louder (crumpets with berry chia jam, almond praline, vanilla-bean labne) and the savoury matzo brei (a dish of Jewish origin boasting fried eggs, sauteed mushrooms, caramelised onion and chive creme). Coffee has been supplied by Padre Coffee’s Noosa roastery, available across espresso, cold brew and pour-over varieties, while a selection of teas and smoothies flesh out the drinks selection.
