Malaysian hawker-style cuisine has caught on in Australia in a big way, and one of the most popular proponents of Malaysian fare is eatery chain PappaRich. Since arriving in Australia in 2016, PappaRich has exploded to encompass 30 stores across the nation (including spots at the Wintergarden, Garden City and Surfers Paradise), educating diners on the rich array of flavours available in South East Asia. PappaRich opened at Coorparoo Square in 2018, taking over a space across the way from ALDI. First time diners might be familiar with iconic dishes such as nasi lemak, but the menu is extensive – filled with incredible plates and share-style meals. Dishes such as nasi biryani with sambal eggplant, fried chicken with sambal prawns, curry laksa, roti canai and beef rendang are also available, alongside a selection of Malaysian drinks and desserts.

To celebrate the opening of its Coorparoo location, PappaRich is offering a special 50-percent off all menu items from 11:00 am on Friday January 18 and Saturday January 19. Additonally, PAFU will be offering free PAFU’s to the first 100 customers on the same dates.
