Some exciting changes are happening at James Street’s resident cinema, Palace Centro. First, it’s changed its name to Palace James Street, but as of this Friday November 16 it will be taking the cinema experience to the next level with the opening of Palace Platinum James Street. The luxurious cinemas will include cushy reclining leather chairs, in-cinema dining and a premium selection of wine, cocktails and craft beers to enjoy during the film. Palace Platinum James Street has partnered with some of its James Street neighbours for its food offering, including Jocelyn’s Provisions and Chow House, and film-goers will have access to ‘silent service’, which allows them to order additional fare during the movie without disruption. Movie-goers can still indulge in the classic cinema experience, with a number of standard sessions still available for all of the films showing across the cinema’s seven screens.
