All of our Italian dreams came true in when Osteria Epoca opened in Yeronga in March 2017. Helmed by acclaimed chef Lorenzo Nobilio (formerly of Ash + Monties and Bistro Alegria), Osteria Epoca offers the full Italian package, combining cafe, restaurant, bar, salumi counter and alimentari (provisions store) in one. Hungry visitors can dine on a selection of handmade pastas and traditional Italian dishes and sweets, influenced by Lorzeno’s own upbringing and the food he enjoyed at home. The dinner menu includes a range of salumi, marinati and stuzzichini, as well as traditional antipasti, pasta, mains and desserts. Osteria Epoca also opens for breakfast and lunch, serving chocolaty Veneziano coffee, housemade gnocchi with pancetta, continental breakfast boards and sauteed mushrooms with grilled sopressa, fried eggs and polenta. Patrons are welcome to recreate their meal at home with the various house-made products in the alimentari, such as marinated olives, dips, sauces and more.
