The former Baguette site in Ascot has received a new lease on life, transformed into new bar and eatery One Fifty. The project comes from the combined minds of restaurateur Jason Coats (The Jetty Oxford and South Bank, Eleven Rooftop Bar) and wife Katie, Jason’s long-standing general manager Tracey Rayner and husband Kwan Fong, and Stuart Carlton-Smith. One Fifty is the kind of place you walk into where you know that your lunch is going to be a long one – in a good way. It has a relaxed bar and dining offering, focusing on approachable, fresh and light dishes as well as a killer cocktail list. The space is light as well – the team has overhauled the site to make the most of natural light and its street frontage, as well as the iconic old tree that sits out the front.
