Nostimo Restaurant & Bar – Opening Soon
The Greek Club has announced news of its soon-to-open signature restaurant, Nostimo Restaurant & Bar. Nostimo will welcome acclaimed Sydney-based Greek chef David Tsirekas as its chef in residence when it opens on June 20, who will be bringing his signature approach to the restaurant, drawing upon techniques he’s honed in his role as executive chef at Sydney’s 1821. Although he will be splitting his time between Sydney and Brisbane, David will work closely with the Nostimo culinary team to share his vision and visit the restaurant every month. The restaurant will present a modern interpretation of a traditional Greek dining experience – expect to find signature dishes such as zesty barbecued swordfish kalamaki skewers on a bed of traditional black-eye bean fasolada soup. Nostimo Restaurant & Bar will open as part of The Greek Club’s mammoth $3-million renovation, seating 75 diners inside the restaurant and 85 on the terrace.
