Northside Coffee Brewers
When it comes to coffee, everyone has their preference. Milky or black. Espresso-based or batch brewed. It doesn’t matter what you’re after, there’s a good chance Northside Coffee Brewers on King Street has it. Owned and operated by Peter Glouftis – also the brains behind neighbouring fish-and chip shop Potato Boy – Northside Coffee Brewers delivers an uncomplicated coffee-oriented offering for those on the move. Peter has linked up with Black Sheep Coffee, sourcing two house blends (one suited for milky coffee, another for black) for locals looking to perk up. Espresso-based coffee, batch brew and bottled cold-drip options are on deck for sipping, alongside freshly squeezed orange juice and Mayde Tea. In addition to the brew, Northside will also serve two kinds of bacon-and-egg roll – one with scrambled egg and caramelised onion, another with fried egg, double-smoked bacon and cheese – and pastries from Sprout Artisan Bakery, which is just about everything you could want to start the day.
