Perennially popular baked-goods dispenser and bang-on brunch provider Nodo expanded its cafe portfolio further in 2021, opening a new location in Hawthorne just before Easter. Located within the Two Sixty-Five micro-precinct on Hawthorne Road, Nodo joined the likes of Botanica, Ze Pickle and Paper Cup Coffee Co. as headline tenants of the hub, which rapidly established itself as a thriving go-to foodie destination. The cafe offers its beloved all-day menu, cups of smooth specialty coffee, nourishing Nodo-2-go items, an array of pantry goods and its full range of drool-worthy hand-dipped doughnuts. Architecture firm Cameron & Co. and construction and fit-out specialists Unita have created a light-industrial aesthetic featuring polished concrete contrasted by warm tones – think American oak detailing, brown leather cushions, pink-marble tabletops, sky lights, limestone brick fixtures and greenery planters.
