Widely adored bakery cafe Nodo finally opened a location in Brisbane’s north in the final days of 2023, cutting the ribbon on a sleek and slender outpost (its ninth in nine years) at Everton Plaza. Nodo founder Kate Williams has once again worked with architects Cameron and Co. on the cafe’s indoor and outdoor design, with a sleek fit-out (built by Echo Construction) boasting cream tile and burgundy accents. The offering at Nodo’s Everton Plaza location naturally starts with its highly praised selection of baked-not-fried doughnuts, which are available alongside the brand’s shakes, gourmet toasties, avocado on sourdough, organic acai bowls (made with Nodo’s house-made granola) and the cafe’s own specialty, house-roasted ‘Wake Up Beautiful’ coffee blend.
