New Globe Theatre

The Globe Theatre began its life as a cinema in the 1970s, transitioning to an all-inclusive arts venue in 2005. After a rocky time keeping the doors open at the start of the noughties, the original venue closed its doors. But the dream was reawakened by new owner Paul Robinson, when he reopened the culture den as the New Globe Theatre. The multimedia venue has the potential to shift from theatre to cinema to live music venue, with all art strands covered on the stage – from cabaret to book launches. The arts and music venue also comes with a well-stocked bar.
