Neil Perry’s Burger Project Edward Street
When news broke of Neil Perry’s Rockpool Group having been acquired by Urban Purveyor Group (Bavarian Bier Café and Saké), we also got word of several new venues. Neil Perry’s Burger Project was one such brand that announced plans to come north, an over the following months its Southpoint location opened and was quickly followed by a second on Edward Street in the CBD. Burger Project is known for its seriously succulent burgers, which use all natural ingredients sourced fresh daily. Diners can order from a selection of 14 handcrafted burgers featuring fillings such as grass-fed Cape Grim beef (ground on site), free-range Lilydale chicken, crumbed confit mushroom, and even bun-less burgers in a bowl. Chips, shakes and desserts rounds out the food offering, complemented by sodas and iced teas brewed in-house and tap beer and wine.
