If a chilled evening of pizza and hip-hop on vinyl sounds like your jam, then we suggest you continue reading. Laid-back pizza shop and bar Neighbourhood arrived on Moggill Road in Kenmore in March 2017, bringing those exact vibes to the area. Neighbourhood worked with architect Kirsty Hetherington to create a space that feels like home, taking cues from New York-style pizzerias, Japanese minimalism and hip-hop culture. The menu features 12-inch pizzas available whole or by the slice, experimenting with ingredients such as hot honey, confit garlic, char-grilled pineapple and more. There is also a small selection of ‘not pizza’ dishes, as well as Neighbourhood’s own brew on tap, all Australian beers and wines, and killer cocktails. The pizza joint also has a turntable set up and each week the Neighbourhood team will bring in a box of records from their personal collection of more than 1000 hip-hop, funk and soul vinyls.
