Nativo Kitchen & Bar

The Barracks received a breath of fresh air, when it welcomed Nativo Kitchen & Bar to the precinct in May 2017. The venue comes from restaurateur TJ Peabody’s NKB Group, the team behind Nantucket Kitchen & Bar, NKB Express and Nickel Kitchen & Bar. Navito took over the space formerly occupied by French Twist, and serves up rustic regional Italian fare. Executive chef Chris Sell has put together a menu that encompasses breakfast, lunch and dinner, with pizza, pasta, salads, mains and a special scallopine featuring. The food menu is complemented by a stellar wine list, featuring some of Italy’s best wine regions, backed up ably by a selection of beer, spirits and cocktails. Nativo Kitchen & Bar will soon be joined by another NKB offering, Burnt Ends, which will open in the latter half of 2017.
