Namu Cafe is a bright and breezy cafe located in the heart of Lutwyche. Occupying the second floor of what was previously a dentist’s practice, Namu has transformed the space into a brunch-lover’s haven, thanks to a refit that emphasises natural materials and elements. Guests can mosey in from 6:30 am for coffee, which has been supplied by Grinders Specialty Coffee. Coffee not your thing? No problem – you can sample hot chocolates, chai lattes, mixed-berry smoothies and protein-loaded post-workout concoctions instead. The cafe’s food menu is still evolving, but the Namu team is keeping things simple and classic with the likes of acai topped with house-made granola, farmer’s pizza, sweet and crunchy brioche waffle with vanilla ice-cream and caramelised banana, eggs Benedict with grilled mushrooms and a breakfast platter fit for two to share. In a hurry? The cabinet is filled with pre-made sandwiches and wraps to devour on the go, while a selection of baked goods (think butter croissants and danishes) from Brasserie Bread make for a great snack.
