Mu’ooz

Mu’ooz is an African word that translates to mean ‘tasty and healthy’. These characters are reflected at Mu’ooz, a welcoming restaurant set in the streets of West End. The restaurant is a Brisbane-based social enterprise, creating training and work experience opportunites for refugee women. For a taste of Africa, enjoy the exotic flavours of the Tsebhi Kantisha – a rich mushroom stew flavoured with berbere, onion, tomatoes and garlic. The Shiro is a delectable dish made with finely grounded chickpeas with oil and spices, served with stuffed green chillies. Accompany the wholesome far with a side of Injera and Dips, to tear apart and soak up the delicious juices.
