Korean fried chicken is certainly taking the city by storm and it’s not hard to see why – if done right it’s damn delicious. Fried-chicken lovers have been flocking to Runcorn for arguably some of the best crispy chick in town at Momo Chicken & Beer, but if that’s a little too far for you to travel don’t fret – Momo Chicken on Elizabeth Street is here to satiate your chook cravings. There are more than ten kinds of fried chicken to choose from, from classic and marinated pieces through to boneless sets with a variety of seasonings and ‘fire chicken’ with the choice of hot or very hot, and each generous serve comes with hand-cut potato chips (we’re not talking fries here – think giant salted Kettle chips). The love of the chick continues through to meals as well, with the likes of giant chicken cutlets, chicken noodle soup, chicken curry and chicken salad also featuring on the menu, as well as burgers hot-stone bibimbap, Korean bento boxes, calamari, seafood okonomiyaki and Korean pancakes.
