It’s not just a choice of sliced white or grain at the newly refurbished miettes fine breads + pastry at Graceville. Akin to a boulangerie and patisserie in Paris, this artisan bakery is serious about its French-style breads and pastries. There is a range of thoughtfully balanced sourdoughs, including the fig and ginger, cheese and herb, fruit yoghurt, spelt, ancient grain and haloumi and mint. Among the range are traditional French baguettes, corn bread, Turkish bread, ciabatta and a host of others. The in-house cafe at miettes invites visitors to indulge in buttery-light pastries and sweets, savouries and rich Campos coffee. Following its redecoration and rebranding, the cafe – formerly known as Miette’s Boulangerie Patisserie – is also offering salads for those opting for a lighter lunch.
