Kangaroo Point will soon be welcoming a new riverside eatery beneath the Story Bridge. The brainchild of local residents Nick Pavlakis and Stavros Tziortzis, Medley Cafe & Restaurant is well underway, perched on the banks of the river in the grounds of Yungaba House. Medley’s fit-out makes the most of the river views, which stretch from the Story Bridge to New Farm, with two wide timber decks and expansive bi-fold doors. Head chef Patrick Panier’s seasonal menu will take inspiration from the rich migrant history of Yungaba House, featuring flavours from around the globe for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Medley Cafe & Restaurant is set to open mid-August, so look out on The Weekend Edition for updates.
