Mamaku


Mamaku (meaning mother) is an Indonesian restaurant that has drawn inspiration from traditional family recipes and the owner’s heritage. Mamaku is a clean and welcoming space with crisp white walls and furnishings, located a stone’s throw from Clayfield College on Sandgate Road. Open for lunch, dinner and takeaway, Mie Mie creates sublime homemade dishes, with everything from the dumplings to the sauces made on-site. The extensive list of dishes includes meals such as slow-cooked chicken rendang curry, ikan belado (whole chilli fish), hakkan braised pork, garlic prawns and chicken or lamb satay. Noodle dishes such as laksa and mie goreng are available along with traditional nasi goreng and roti. Patrons are also welcome to BYO wine to enjoy with their meals.
