MAAP Space

MAAP Space is a exhibition hub with an innovative cultural program dedicated to heightening the critical, aesthetic and philosophical engagement with Australian and Asia-Pacific media art worldwide. MAAP has collaborated with galleries, museums, public institutions and in public art environments across the globe including Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Reuters Video Wall in Times Square, the National Art Museum of China, the Singapore Art Museum, the China Millennium Monument Art Museum, the Queensland Art Galley and the State Library of Queensland. MAAP Space dedicates its walls – that were specifically designed as an exhibition space – to a curated program creating new opportunities for local artists as well as international artists discovered through MAAP collaborations abroad. Many of the MAAP Space public art exhibitions can also seen in various locations along the Brisbane River at CityCat and ferry terminals.
