Lune Croissanterie

World-renowned croissanterie Lune opened a full-scale production facility and shopfront in South Brisbane in early-August 2021. The team behind the Melbourne-born outfit partnered with Aria Property Group to bring the lauded concept to the base of The Standard on Manning Street, bracketing Fish Lane with a sizeable two-part space. Lune Brisbane differs considerably from its moody warehouse counterpart in Fitzroy, taking cues from Lune’s Melbourne CBD for its street-fronting retail space. Here folks will be able to purchase Lune’s signature zonts – from the traditional kind to almond croissants and ham-and-gruyere-filled variety – as well as pain au chocolat, caramelised kouign amanns, fruit-and-cream-loaded danishes, lemon-curd cruffins and monthly specials. Those after a warm beverage to go with their pastry choice can also sip on Coffee Supreme and hot chocolate from Mork. Deeper within the building sits The Cube (Lune’s purpose-built and temperature-controlled raw-pastry production space) and the Lune Lab – a space dedicated to special dining experiences centred around innovative Lune treats.
