Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Louisiana Redclaw delivered a flavoursome and aromatic take on traditional Southern-style crawfish boils to Fortitude Valley’s M&A dining precinct in early 2018. Instead of crawfish as a specialty, the casual eatery serves up native Australian redclaw crayfish (yabbies) boiled in Viet-Cajun-style spices. As well as redclaw, you can choose from the likes of Alaskan king crab, prawns, clams and more, tossed in your flavour of choice (think original Cajun or garlic butter) with your selected level of heat. Get a platter of all the choice morsels or order your seafood by the pound – there’s no wrong choice. A range of American-style sides also feature on the menu, with a range of classic cocktails, wines and beers to help wash down your feast. Diners are encouraged to use their hands and don’t worry – bibs and gloves are available.
