Little Silver Bullet
After West End’s Boundary Street Markets shifted from its original location on the corner of Boundary and Mollison Streets, one of its most beloved features disappeared with it. A charming train carriage-turned-bar had been drawing in thirsty punters for months before the move, operated by Cleveland-based Red Bay Brewing’s Jeffrey and Saori. After the closure of the markets, the duo sought out a space to continue serving their range of locally brewed craft beer to West End locals, eventually finding a perfect space on Russell Street to call their own. Little Silver Bullet pays homage to the bar’s market beginnings, but also boasts a brand-new fit-out featuring a new bar, timber furnishings and plenty of beer taps pouring Red Bay Brewing’s range of beverages. The bar has 12 taps that rotate through Red Bay’s 28 beers, which includes nine gluten-free beers, ginger beers, lemonades and ciders. Each beer is regularly tested for quality, ensuring that every drop is up to scratch. The bar also stocks a selection of wines and a curated list of spirits, while the kitchen whips up Izakaya-inspired bites to complement the drinking experience. Snack options include antipasto plates, Moroccan-spiced chicken wings, gyoza and a range of savoury tarts. Little Silver Bullet can host a range of functions, with Jeffrey and Saori happy to talk through packages and options for a range of occasions.
