Lenny’s on Lutwyche

One of the newest cafes to emerge on the scene in Brisbane’s north packs quite a punch. Lenny’s on Lutwyche is the brainchild of Lee Dittmar – a pastry chef and title-winning Super Bantamweight boxer who is bringing her brand of homemade pastries to Lutwyche. Named after Lee’s grandfather Lenny – himself a former Australian champion boxer – the cafe and bar hybrid has been hewn out of a space on Lutwyche Road, a stone’s throw from Lee’s home gym Corporate Box. The eatery offers a delicious range of freshly made pastries, sandwiches and pies, as well as an ever-changing menu of sit-down fare made from fresh, seasonal produce. Lee has taken a personal approach to Lenny’s offering, happily tailoring elements of her meals to fuel what you have planned for that day. Whether you are training, have a long day at work or are simply keen for a leisurely nibble, Lee has you covered. The coming weeks will see Lenny’s on Lutwyche commence night trading, with Golden Session Ale on tap, boutique wines and cocktails on offer. A dinner service may also be on the cards, with Lee toying around with the idea of burgers and charcuterie after the sun sets.
