La Lune Wine Co
Fish Lane is continuing to grow, and we’re certainly not mad about it with the opening of French-inspired wine bar La Lune Wine Co comes from local restaurateur Paul McGivern. With its name translating to ‘the moon’, the bar is a direct nod to Paul’s East Brisbane restaurant The Wolfe. He has worked closely with in-house sommelier and bar manager Olivia Evans and long-time friend and Victorian winemaker Nick Farr to refine the bar’s wine list, which is comprised of more than 120 wines from across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Paul and head chef Peter Moon have crafted a menu designed to engage the senses, and pair perfectly, of course, with wine. The menu is divided into choices of charcuterie, cheese, raw and hot, and six dishes each week will be crafted and adapted specifically for wine pairing.
