La Boca Bar and Grill


The dining offering at Stamford Plaza Brisbane grew in 2023 with the arrival La Boca Bar and Grill adding enticing Argentinian cuisine to the high-end hotel’s cadre of culinary concepts. Here, the team is using Argentinian grilling and cooking methods to bring out the best of Queensland produce, delivering a menu imbued with woodfired flavours. La Boca’s offering starts with snacks like grilled tiger prawns with citrus and herb sauce, sweetcorn and cheese empanadas, and potato fritters with prosciutto and porcini. From there, guests can select morsels cooked over the parilla grill (half-split grilled spring chicken, 120-day grain-fed entraña steak and grilled short ribs) 0r licked by flame at the asador fire pit (free-range pork belly, dry-aged lamb shoulder and wagyu shoulder blade). Pescatarians are amply catered for, with half wood-grilled rock lobster, parrilla-grilled barramundi and Moreton Bay bugs also available. Can’t decide? A Butcher’s Selection share platter and a seafood tower will allow two to share an array of La Boca’s morsels. On the drinks front, La Boca’s beverage list encompasses an assortment of wine (including a selection of Argentinian malbec), mainstream beers, barrel-aged negronis, Argentianian sangria and other signature cocktails.
