Kabana

What do you get when you combine the aesthetics and creative electricity of a clothing brand and an interiors and textiles outfit? You get the super-stylish creative hub and boutique Kabana. This Graceville emporium was established as a collaborative effort between clothing brand Ruby Yaya and Rachel Elizabeth Interiors and Textiles, masterminded by Rachel Scott and Melissa Anderson. Kabana showcases a diverse range of apparel, homewares, art and organic beauty products, made by local artisans from across the globe. Hand-made, fair-trade pieces from makers in Morocco, Guatemala, Gambia, Vietnam and India adorn Kabana’s shelves and floor space, creating a diverse worldly vibe throughout the entire store. Kabana also hosts creative workshops that will see local businesses and creative artists showcase their skills and offer tips across a range of classes. Attendees will be able to learn the likes of floral artistry, basket weaving, macramé and jewellery making, while also hosting paint and prosecco nights and yoga events.
