Jabiru is the name of a town situated in Australia’s heartland, Kakadu National Park, which is a space that epitomises the beauty and diversity of Australia. Jabiru in near Post Office Square is a vibrant cafe that aims to reflect the unique nature of the town, bringing a connectedness and conversation to the food we consume, while celebrating the beauty and diversity of contemporary Australia. The well-travelled menu consists of dishes ranging from classic Australian cuisine to dishes that draw upon Asian, European and Middle Eastern influences, available for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast options include plates of decadent Belgian waffles with berry compote, vanilla bean creme fraiche or ham hock baked beans with poached eggs, while the lunch offering boasts sumptuous dishes such as pulled pork sliders with spicy apple slaw or rosemary salted scotch fillet of Kilcoy black angus with kipfler potatoes and lemon and avocado butter. Jabiru offers share plates for dinner diners, with a full dinner menu offering to come in the near future.
