Isles Lane

How do you feel about ice-cold beers and Moreton Bay bugs for fun-lunch Friday? Isles Lane can give you just that. The bar and eatery comes from Trent Meade and Matt Blyth, the team behind The Met and GPO Hotel, who have moved away from nightclubs to focus on expanding the focus of their hospitality group, Celissa. Sitting at 300 Queen Street, Isles Lane overlooks the green lawns of Post Office Square, opening the 400-patron space right up to draw in natural light. The venue is open from breakfast until late seven days, with a menu that offers farm-to-table delights including the likes of spicy barbecue beer-can chicken, Bannock brae porchetta with caramelised apple, beef brisket and salmon, alongside a broad selection of beer handles, a modern wine list and a full-stocked back bar of interesting spirits.
