Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart Garden City – Opening Soon

Let those words sink in. Baked. Cheese. Tart. We’ve been dreaming of these babies ever since our friends on the Gold Coast wrote of the arrival of Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart (HBCT) at Pacific Fair back in July. Now finally the wait is over – the pastry delights are coming to Brisbane with not one, but two venues. The first Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart store is set to open in The Myer Centre in late October, closely followed by a Westfield Garden City store opening in early November. We know what you’re thinking – what exactly is a baked cheese tart? Allow us to enlighten you. Imagine a crunchy shortcrust pastry contrasted by a fluffy, creamy filling, famous for its richness, moreish sweet/savoury taste and tantalising cheesy aroma. The tarts come in original cheese and chocolate flavours, with a new blueberry flavour to be launched across all stores from this Friday October 6. We’ll have more details soon!
