Head downstairs at 367 Brunswick Street and you’ll discover a tangle of secret dive bars, cracking cocktails and incredibly creative pan-Asian street food. From cheeseburger spring rolls to pork tonkatsu dogs, the kitchen crew certainly know how to put their own unique stamp on old favourites. Four small specialty bars offer up a smorgasbord of varying drinks and nibbles, meaning you can stick to what you love or treat your tastebuds to a mix. Bar 80s offers a bit of everything, while Bar Lonely specialises in whisky, Kohaku Bar shakes up cocktails and Yama Bar sates the beer lovers with an interesting mix of brews. The full Street Eats food menu is available in most bars from 5:00–10:00 pm, with a more condensed list popping up from 10:00 pm to late. Team your tipple with grub like hickory-smoked edamame, sticky pork ribs, crab and corn chiko rolls, or mushroom and bacon gyoza. Once you’re well satiated, try your hand at pool and pinball or catch a live gig in the intimate gig space.
