The crew behind Hashtag Burgers & Waffles is continuing its quest to take over the Brisbane burger scene. Following hot on the heels of the opening of its Capalaba eatery, the concept will be opening a brand-new franchise location in Ashgrove this Saturday September 2. Taking over the space formerly occupied by Hub Cafe Kitchen on Stewart Place, this 30-seater space chow spot will serve Hashtag’s popular menu of burgers, sides, shakes and desserts (plus a a selection of Mac From Way Back’s iconic, cheese-drenched specials), while a handful of beer taps will pour brews from the likes of Big Shed, Black Flag and Aether Brewing. To celebrate the Ashgrove location’s opening, the Hashtag crew will be giving away 20 free burgers every hour on the hour between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, and between 6:00–9:00 pm. The day will also include merch giveaways and tunes – head on down this weekend and join in on the celebrations!
