Hakataya Ramen Queen Street Mall

Brisbane has been in the grips of ramen fever for years now, and one of the main proponents of the iconic Japanese noodle soup is the team behind Hakataya Ramen. For more than 20 years Hakataya Ramen has been serving hot bowls of nourishing goodness from locations in Sunnybank, Garden City, Eight Mile Plains, Indooroopilly and Brisbane City, and in the latter half of 2017 Hakataya Ramen opened a second Brisbane City location in Queen Street Mall. This new location is markedly different from the pit-stop situated near the Myer Centre bus terminals, with a sit-down offering perfect for dinners who prefer not to rush their ramen experience. The 150 square-metre space is located under Wallace Bishop Jewellers, and seats 45 patrons. Hakataya Ramen in Queen Street Mall serves up the signature range of five traditional ramen varieties, from classic nagahama ramen to the shio spicy-men. In addition to this, Hakataya Ramen serves up freshly cooked gyoza, with serving sizes ranging from three pieces to fifty pieces (so, you’d better get some friends together). Not only is the ramen on point, this joint also serves a range of Japanese beers and sake to help wash down your feast!
