Growing World started as a simple market stall owned and operated by married couple Maria and Peter, a teacher and a school principal respectively. Originally selling custom-made fabric books and puppets, demand grew for more toys that encouraged learning. Ten years ago Growing World took over a space at the Emporium and has been operating ever since. Growing World is a toy store that specialises in educational toys and gifts for little ones through to early teens. The store does not sell any electronic toys, preferring to stock products that rely on imagination and creativity to be entertaining. Growing World’s shelves are full of toys from all across the world and its range is extensive – making it a perfect stop to buy a gift for a growing mind.
