Ground New Farm
Ground New Farm is the brainchild of local gals Cheyenne Jarvis (CJ) and Britt Ayling, who have set up shop beneath the shady trees on Lamington Street. Looking to offer a point of difference to the area, the pair has enlisted the bean prowess of boutique Sydney roasters The Black Lab Coffee Co., with Ground being only the second cafe serving The Black Lab in Brisbane. The cafe’s wide coffee window is open for takeaways from 6:30 am six days a week – if coffee’s not your jam you can also grab the likes of chai and matcha lattes or refreshing Elemental cold-pressed juices – or you can take a moment (or a few) to sit down and order from the menu. Ground’s food offering will be ever changing, evolving with the seasons and also to suit locals’ tastes – expect the likes of smashed avocado on sourdough, house-made chai tea bircher, and clean and raw sweets from My Plate Clean Treats.
